Dallas Ballet Center offers a variety of classes for adults – both young and old – who enjoy dance. Class cards are available for those who cannot attend regularly.

Taught by a professional fitness trainer and former Olympic gymnast, Dallas Ballet Center is pleased to have Terrence Martin instruct adult/teen stretching and conditioning classes. Class includes stretching exercises, cardio workout, conditioning and aerobic activities to achieve an all-body workout. Each class is unique and different, targeting and focusing on specific muscle groups.

Dallas Ballet Center offers tap classes specially geared for the adult or teen. Classes are available for the beginner tap dancer as well as for those adults and teens who have had some prior experience. Check class schedule for specific days and times.

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)
It’s Barre Class on a Ball! Fitness balls are used to eliminate the full interference of gravity while allowing you to reshape your muscle memory. This enables you to:
Reshape the contours of the arms and legs
Gain posture awareness
Develop a solid core
Isolate muscle movement
Lift the pelvic floor

A mindful movement class open to all levels, with modifications offered to increase or decrease the intensity. Yoga instructor Susan Glassmoyer brings the joy of God’s word and worship music together with your workout. Classes begin and end with Scripture, prayer and stillness. For 50 minutes in between we safely build strength, balance and flexibility. Calm your mind. Work your body classes are hatha/vinyasa style yoga, taught by Yoga Instructor, Susan Glassmoyer. It is her joy to incorporate God’s word into the yoga practice and to help others remember to be still and know Him. All levels are welcomed and modifications are encouraged to accommodate each practitioner.

PILOXING® is a cardio fusion of Pilates, Boxing and Dance. This high energy interval workout combines techniques that burn maximum calories, build lean muscles and increase stamina. This class will increase muscle definition and strength through isolation and proper form.
W/TH- 9:30 – 10:30
BARRE incorporates small, isometric exercises to help you build strength. Barre workouts not only help you sculpt lean legs, define arms, and create a stronger core, but also burn fat with a healthy dose of cardio throughout the class.
