Kelley Wissinger
Ballet
Kelley Wissinger began her classical ballet training at age 4 in a small ballet conservatory under the direction of Victoria Ayers in Waxahachie, Texas. She continued dancing through high school and was honored to perform the role of Sugar Plum Fairy as well as Sleeping Beauty’s Aurora. Kelley later received her Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science from Baylor University and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Public Health. After meeting her husband, she moved back to the Dallas area, began her clinical career as a dietitian, and started a family. Throughout these years, Kelley never stopped dancing and eventually found her way to Dallas Ballet Center where she began taking the adult ballet class. She currently works part-time as a home health dietitian and now enjoys teaching ballet to both preschool and elementary school children. She is so happy to be able to nurture the love of dance with
her DBC students!
