
Lori Kennedy
Ballet

Born in Tucson, Arizon, Lori Nowak Kennedy was raised on Long Island, New York. She began her ballet training with Leda and Andre Eglevsky and continued her training as a scholarship student at American Ballet Theater School and the School of American Ballet. In 1980 Ms. Kennedy joined the Boston Ballet and was promoted to soloist in 1984.
In 1984 Ms. Kennedy was awarded the silver medal at the first New York International Ballet Competition. She has also appeared as a guest artist with regional ballet companies in the United States, and appeared as a guest artist in the 1990 New York International Ballet Competition Gala where she danced a pas de deux from Violette Verdy's ALBUM opposite NYCB soloist Alexandre Proia.
She is thrilled to join the faculty at Dallas Ballet Center!
