FATHER/DAUGHTER PARTNERING

   Since 1996, the Dallas Ballet Center has offered this unique class for ballet dancers and their fathers. The classes begin each year in January and culminate in a performance in the annual spring production in June. The father/daughter class is open to Level IV ballet dancers with strong pointe technique and involves basic partnering skills.
   The class was inspired by a father who wanted to spend more time with his teenage daughter and share an activity that they both could enjoy. The father/daughter class has been featured on Channel 8 news as well as being featured in the Dallas magazine the Lake Highlands Advocate.
