Susan Glassmoyer

Susan Glassmoyer followed medical advice to begin ballet training to strengthen her tendons and muscles supporting her legs and knees.  Her lifelong love of dance began alongside visits to an orthopedic surgeon. After 35 wonderful years of dancing, teaching and performing, her medical doctor suggested she try yoga to help with increasing knee problems and to postpone the need for knee replacement surgery. She was immediately captivated with the exercises and fell in love with the idea of choreography and movement that challenges and pushes the body safely while taking care of the joints and increasing flexibility. After years of attending regular classes, she began training and became a certified yoga instructor so she could combine her love for teaching others with this beautiful practice of promoting body wellness and alignment.  It is her joy to incorporate God’s word into the yoga practice and to help others remember to be still and know Him. She is still learning to take nice, deep breaths on and off the yoga mat.
